Our Pulmonary Wellness Program

Blue Hill Memorial Hospital is launching a new, multidisciplinary pulmonary wellness program designed to help patients of all ages with breathing difficulties.

Respiratory problems affect patients of all ages. Many individuals experience intense anxiety when they can’t breathe or when they see a loved one gasping for air. Blue Hill Memorial Hospital’s pulmonary wellness services can help patients avoid acute episodes and reduce reliance on costly medical interventions.

Our respiratory therapists treat all types of patients, ranging from pediatric asthmatics to elderly people with chronic pulmonary diseases. We also train other medical staff using the current clinical guidelines regarding proper care of the pulmonary patient.  Our respiratory therapists work with both hospitalized patients and patients seeking care on an outpatient basis.
