Blue Hill Family Medicine is pleased to announce that Zoë Robbins Tenney, FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) has joined the practice, and will be providing family medicine for all ages. She is now seeing patients on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

After graduating from George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill as valedictorian and National Merit Scholar in 1993, Ms. Tenney went on to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA, and attained her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 2001. Her academic honors include magna cum laude from Wellesley, summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, Phi Beta Kappa, and National Health Service Corps Scholar.

Her professional career includes positions as a Registered Nurse at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, and the Penobscot Nursing Home in Penobscot, ME. For the last five years, she served as an FNP at the Harrington Family Health Center in Harrington, ME. 

A native of Sedgwick, Ms. Tenney says returning here with her family has fulfilled her long-aspired-for dream of "coming full circle". "My husband, Keith, and I are rooted by family ties to the Blue Hill Peninsula, and both our sons were born at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital," she states. "I believe my expertise, along with a deep familiarity and commitment to this community is an excellent fit for the clinic, and I look forward to contributing to the health of area families."
